HOW TO BECOME A PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER IN ITALY
The Italian laws prescribe that to become a professional engineer it is required to overcome a professional examination, whose contents are determined by the Ministry of University and Research basing on the graduation class (Lx) of each study cycle. According to each study cycle of graduating course, you will become a "full" Professional Engineer or a Junior Professional Engineer. Thus, if you have passed a second level cycle of study (5 years) you will become a Professional Engineer while if you have attended a first level cycle (3 years) you will become a Junior Professional Engineer.
